SCM Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a SCM Analyst to join our team in Mawson Lakes.

In this role, you will be working with the Australian Commonwealth and GDLS-US and responsible for capturing end-to-end analysis with regard to future demand and performance analytics on spare parts.

In addition, you will:

  • Lead analysis for spares forecasting and data gathering to support recommendations for optimal requirements and needs of the CoA with demand.
  • Support CoA with spares analysis and modelling.
  • Conduct investigations including cost/benefit analysis in collaboration with CoA, working towards Lead Time Away’s (LTA’s).
  • Work with Sourcing Specialist to capture future demand and suppliers in oracle and bid-list.
  • Perform analytics to capture Request For Quote (RFQ) and Purchase Order (PO) placement efficiencies.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Ability to research and reach back to other GDLS Business Units and the Commonwealth to obtain rationale for procurement demand.
  • Strong and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to prepare and present analysis/presentations to GDLS Leadership and Commonwealth, rationalising direction of procurement demand.

To be successful for this role, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian government security clearance. Please note: Applicants will be required to complete a National Police Check for this role.
