Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification and current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
• Experience teaching Science at junior secondary level, particularly Year 10.
• Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and contemporary science teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Year 10 Science lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Contribute to the development and planning of the Year 10 Science curriculum for 2027.
• Create learning experiences that connect Science to vocational interests and future career pathways.
• Support students of varying abilities in a practical, inclusive and student-centred learning environment.
• Develop students’ scientific knowledge, inquiry skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
