Job summary

The Lakes College invites applications for a Chemistry and Junior Science Teacher (Secondary) to commence as a full-time parental leave cover in 2027. The role requires delivering high-quality, engaging science education within the ACARA and QCAA frameworks, and supporting students to become lifelong learners.

Chemistry & Junior Science Teacher (Secondary)

This will be a full-time 2027 parental leave cover contract.

As a Chemistry and Junior Science Teacher, you will foster a culture of high expectations, intellectual curiosity, and academic growth, empowering students to value connection and belonging, develop knowledge and character, and flourish as lifelong learners and responsible contributors to the world around them.

Working within the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) frameworks, you will deliver contemporary, engaging and evidence-informed learning experiences that equip students for success in an increasingly data-driven and technology-rich world.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Science educator to contribute to a thriving learning community.
