About ACC Singleton

Australian Christian College - Singleton (ACCS) is located in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales with easy access to the city of Newcastle. Offering programs from Prep to Year 12, ACCS continues to experience sustained growth.

About the role

We are seeking applications from qualified Science teachers whoare enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian schooling. Successful candidates will join a highly competent and supportive secondary teaching team. Over the next five years our student enrolment will grow from 400 to 650 students, so there are considerable opportunities for teachers to contribute to growth, improvement and leadership.

This full-time position will commence in January 2026.

About You

• Be able to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
• Be supportive of an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.
• Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
• Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
• Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.
