Job summary

Canberra Grammar School is seeking an engaging and innovative Science Teacher to join our Senior School in 2027. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students across a broad range of abilities and senior pathways, from science curiosity to IB Diploma Programme or HSC preparation.

You will teach, provide pastoral care, and participate in co-curricular life, with some out-of-hours commitments across the school calendar, supported by an experienced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree and recognised teaching qualification.
• Current ACT Teacher Quality Institute registration and a valid WWVP.
• Current National Police Check and full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science to senior students across IB DP, HSC or IB Middle Years Programme.
• Provide pastoral care through the House system and contribute to co-curricular activities.
• Commit to out-of-hours duties across the School calendar as required.
