Job summary

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a range of schools across Darwin and Remote Northern Territory to recruit passionate Science and Mathematics teachers for permanent and fixed-term opportunities beginning January 2027.

Roles include teaching Years 7–12 across Government, Independent, Catholic, and other faith-based schools, with placements in both Darwin and remote communities requiring adaptability and strong classroom management.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications.
• Current Northern Territory teacher registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Experience teaching Science and/or Mathematics (graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for student engagement and academic success.
• The ability to build positive relationships within school communities.
• A commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace diverse educational settings and communities.

Responsibilities

• Teach General Science, Biology, Physics, Mathematics across Years 7–12.
• Work across Darwin and Remote Northern Territory communities.
