Job summary

Prospero Teaching is partnering with schools across Darwin and the Northern Territory to recruit passionate Design Technology and TAS teachers for January 2027 starts. Roles are available across Government, Independent, Catholic, and faith-based settings, with opportunities from graduate to experienced classroom leaders.

We welcome applicants interested in teaching Years 7–12, with flexible placement to match experience and preferences.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications.
• Current Northern Territory teacher registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Experience teaching Design Technology, TAS, Industrial Technology, Hospitality, Food Technology, Engineering, or related subjects.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to practical learning and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Design Technology and TAS lessons across Years 7–12, aligned with school programs.
• Collaborate with a range of schools (Government, Independent, Catholic, or faith-based) to support curriculum delivery.
• Foster creativity, design thinking, and industry-relevant skills in students.
• Contribute to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
