Stile Education in Melbourne is seeking a full‑time Lesson Designer to craft engaging science lessons. You will shape layouts, typography, and artwork, and develop interactive simulations and diagrams that illuminate complex ideas for K‑12 learners.

You will collaborate closely with writers, learning designers and engineers, ensuring accessibility and quality from concept through to publication, while evolving the visual language of Stile across digital and print.

Qualifications

• Solid graphic design fundamentals: layout, typography, hierarchy, colour; portfolio shows high-volume design in a visual language.
• Genuine curiosity about interactive work; not required to be a deep interaction designer.
• Adaptable to an existing visual language and able to evolve with a team of creatives.
• Comfortable working with writers, editors and engineers as part of the job.
• Experience designing educational, instructional, or explanatory content."
• Prototype in code at whatever level; not required to be an engineer.
• Willing to use AI tooling to take an interaction from idea to working prototype.
• Motion and animation ability.

Responsabilités

• Designing engaging lessons with the content team within the Stile design language and pushing creative possibilities across digital and print.
• Creating interactive experiences: simulations, drag-and-drop activities, models and other interactive elements.
• Illustrating and diagramming science: diagrams, figures, process visuals and explanatory artwork.
• Collaborating with writers, learning designers and engineers from concept to delivery; ensuring accessibility and schedule adherence.
• Continuing to hone craft: accessibility, critique, and staying current with interaction design and AI tooling.
