Job summary

Careers is seeking a Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Coach to support schools in the Mallee area, based from Mildura or Swan Hill regional offices. You will work with school leadership to implement SWPBS and monitor progress across multiple sites.

The role involves travel to schools, collaboration with district principals and staff, and delivering targeted support to improve student wellbeing and engagement. Fixed-term until June 2028, with preferred start in Term 4, 2026.

Qualifications

• Essential: Relevant tertiary qualification in a discipline relevant to the implementation of evidence-based school practices.
• Desirable: Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency OR Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload of schools within a designated Area to implement the SWPBS framework.
• Use valid tools to evaluate progress and facilitate action planning with school-based teams.
• Provide ongoing support and technical assistance to school-level SWPBS leads.
