Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Health Wellbeing Support Advisor for an ongoing part-time position in the North-Western Victoria Region. You will be part of the Health Wellbeing Specialist Services Branch, helping schools align with department policy and the School Guide to Attendance to promote student learning, engagement, inclusion and attendance.

The role requires strong knowledge of the School Guide to Attendance and the ability to advise schools and build partnerships

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to make evidence-based decisions.
• Proven ability to engage and relate to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of DE policies and School Guide to Attendance.
• Experience in working in a dynamic, high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Support schools to implement the School Guide to Attendance and its five elements.
• Provide sound advice and strategies to improve student attendance.
• Undertake School Attendance Officer processes and related duties.
