Job summary

Gladstone Central State School invites applications for a passionate psychologist to provide wellbeing support to the school community. The position is a temporary part-time role (0.60FTE), 45.6 hours per fortnight, until 17 December 2027, unless otherwise determined.

You will work with students experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, delivering early intervention and therapeutic support within a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Provision interim supervision for provisional/early-career psychologists.
• Supervision toward internship and clinical registrar programs can be supported.
• Students currently completing their studies are encouraged to apply to build experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support for students with mild to moderate mental health needs.
• Collaborate with school-based teams to support wellbeing through individual, group and whole-school programs.
• Maintain adequate records and data as required.
