Job summary

The Department of Education in Victoria is seeking an experienced psychologist to join the student support services team. You will provide high-level psychology services to students, contribute to wellbeing initiatives, and work within a multidisciplinary environment to support learning and development.

Responsibilities include consultation with schools and families, program development, and collaboration with other professionals to address complex cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate or post-graduate degree in Psychology or equivalent.
• Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
• Victorian Working with Children Check and driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level psychology support to school age students to improve learning.
• Undertake advanced wellbeing interventions for students and schools.
• Coordinate student support services in a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to student wellbeing policy development.
• Provide leadership within a multidisciplinary student support team.
• Support teachers in developing educational programs for students with additional needs.
