Job summary

Tasmanian Government's Dunalley Primary School in the South region is seeking a School Business Manager to lead financial, facility and staffing resource administration and to support the Principal and staff with strategic management of school operations.

This permanent, full-time role offers the SBM Level 1 classification and a salary in the Tasmanian State Service Award range; start date 18 January 2027, 73.5 hours per fortnight across 42 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment.
• Qualification or studies in relevant areas e.g. human resources, business studies or accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating school administrative services and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and co-ordinate school administrative services including those relating to the general management of financial, facility and staffing resources.
• Provide advice and support to the Principal and staff on the administrative management of the school, contributing to the effective delivery, development and continuous improvement of administrative services and outcomes.
