Ocean Grove Primary School in Ocean Grove VIC is seeking a qualified school nurse to manage medications, enteral feeds, and respond to health emergencies during school hours.

The role requires Division 1 RN registration, WWC check, and a current driver's licence; you will work with families, teachers, and health staff to support students with complex health needs. Normal hours are 9:00 am to 3:20 pm, with potential job sharing.

Qualifications

• Current registration as Division 1 Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
• Current Victorian Working With Children Check.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with families, doctors, school staff and Therapists as required.
• Manage and document medications for students.
• Manage enteral feeds for students as required.
• Assess and manage students presenting with seizures.
• Manage student respiratory issues including suctioning and oxygen therapy.
• Assist teachers in the management of students with health needs.
• Attend meetings as required by the school.
• Follow Department of Education policies and school procedures.
