Job summary

MacKillop College Port Macquarie is seeking a Finance Officer to support administration with confidential financial tasks, wage processing and general bookkeeping. The role operates 8:30–3:30, 76 hours per fortnight, in a Catholic school environment with a focus on pastoral care and student wellbeing.

The appointment is full-time, 12 months, commencing 28 January 2027. Applicants must have a NSW Working with Children Check, familiarity with WH&S, and the ability to work under policy frameworks

Qualifications

• Provide evidence of well-developed communication, administrative and office skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Desirable prior experience in a school office.
