Overview

School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area

Responsibilities

This is a casual position which will provide relief at sites in the Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area. Shifts may fall between the school zone hours 8:00–9:30 AM and 2:30–4:00 PM, with a minimum of one hour shift as required Monday to Friday during the school term. You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation.

You\'re a community minded person who would like to contribute. You’d get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy. You\'re reliable and prepared to show up for your community – in good or bad weather. You’ll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers. If this all sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. And one more thing: as you’ll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. Don\'t worry if you haven\'t done this before, we will help you through the process! If you already have a Working with Children Check, that\'s fantastic as that will speed up the process.
