Overview

School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area

Responsibilities

This is a casual position which will provide relief at sites in the Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area. Shifts may fall between the school zone hours 8:00–9:30 AM and 2:30–4:00 PM, with a minimum of one hour shift as required Monday to Friday during the school term. You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation.

You\'re a community minded person who would like to contribute. You’d get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy. You\'re reliable and prepared to show up for your community – in good or bad weather. You’ll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers. And one more thing: as you’ll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. Don\'t worry if you haven\'t done this before, we will help you through the process! If you already have a Working with Children Check, that\'s fantastic as that will speed up the process.
