Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a School Crossing Supervisor for Warrawee Public School in the Ku-ring-gai area. The role is permanent part-time with 20 hours per fortnight, shifts 8:15AM-9:15AM and 2:30PM-3:30PM, Monday to Friday, supporting student safety and community presence.

Applicants must be 18+, willing to obtain Working with Children Check, Police Check, and health assessment. Training and uniforms provided; wages paid weekly with superannuation included.

Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists. You’ll also grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.

Warrawee Public School shifts fall between the school zone hours of 8:15AM-9:15AM and 2:30PM-3:30PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. School Crossings require 20 hours of supervising per fortnight.

You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation, and you will also be compensated during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.

Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. And one more thing! As you’ll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital.
