Job summary

Australian Green Clean is seeking reliable cleaners for an educational facility in Adelaide. You will perform general cleaning of classrooms, offices and shared spaces, including mopping, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, bin emptying and restocking consumables.

This role requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised. Mandatory checks include a current DCSI Working With Children Check and a National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial or school cleaning experience preferred.
• DCSI Working With Children Check is mandatory.
• National Police Clearance is mandatory.
• Availability for morning or afternoon shifts (3 or 5 days per week).
• Must have own reliable transport.
• Able to work autonomously and use initiative.

About The Role

We are excited to have a partnership with a prestigious school located in Adelaide’s inner south-east. We are now recruiting for cleaning positions commencing immediately. As part of our team, you will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across classrooms, offices, amenities, and communal areas.

We Have Opportunities For Both

• Morning shift from 6am (3 days or 5 days)
• Afternoon shift from 3pm (3 days or 5 days)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• General cleaning of classrooms, offices and shared spaces
• Mopping/ vacuuming floors
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Emptying bins and restocking consumables
• Wiping down desks and high-touch surfaces
• Undertaking detailed cleaning to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standard
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor

What we require from you?

• Previous commercial / school cleaning experience (school cleaning is highly regarded)
• Current DCSI Working With Children Check (Mandatory)
• Current National Police Clearance (Mandatory)
• Availability for morning or afternoon shift for a minimum of 3 days (Mon, Wed, Fri) or 5 days (Monday - Friday)
• Excellent communication skills
• High customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
• High standard of work, cleanliness and attention to detail
