Job summary

Australian Green Clean is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor for a prominent school in Adelaide’s inner south-east. The role oversees afternoon cleaning operations, leads a team of up to 8 cleaners, and personally covers allocated areas during shifts from 3pm, Monday to Friday, about 24 hours per week.

You will coordinate daily tasks, provide on-the-job guidance, ensure classrooms, bathrooms, offices and high-touch areas meet high cleaning standards, while maintaining WHS compliance and

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience, preferably in schools or large sites.
• Experience supervising or leading a cleaning team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage time, staff and priorities effectively.
• Willingness to lead by example and work hands-on during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of up to 8 cleaners.
• Complete allocated cleaning areas as part of your shift.
• Coordinate daily tasks and ensure all scheduled cleaning is completed.
• Conduct inspections and address issues promptly.
• Provide on-the-job guidance, support and training to team members.
• Ensure high standards in classrooms, bathrooms, offices and high-touch areas.
• Manage consumables and ensure amenities are stocked.
• Respond professionally to feedback on site.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures and WHS.
