Cater Care Group is hiring a Casual Catering Assistant for Peppermint Grove School. The role supports the senior canteen and café, with shifts during school terms from 9:00 am–2:00 pm or 10:00 am–2:00 pm. On-site parking and a friendly, team-focused environment are offered.

You'll assist with food prep, service, and daily canteen operations, delivering welcoming service to students and staff, while adhering to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering or hospitality.
• Friendly, confident and approachable when engaging with customers.
• Reliable team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Flexible and adaptable in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, service, and buffet setup/pack down
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service to students and staff
• Operate point-of-sale systems, handle transactions, and stock supplies
• Maintain clean, well-presented kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
• Uphold strict food hygiene and safety standards at all times
