Job summary

Kinetic is seeking compassionate School Bus Supervisors to support students with specialist needs on the school run. This casual, on‑call role covers morning and afternoon shifts during school terms, aimed at providing a safe, caring transport experience.

You will work with drivers, families, and schools to ensure respectful pick‑ups and drop‑offs, building trust and comfort for students who rely on bus transport daily.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect with students with specialist needs in a transport setting.
• No prior experience required; a caring disposition matters most.
• Demonstrates care, dignity and respect for every student.
• Active Working with Children Check (Employee) and standard first aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Casual, on‑call work during school terms only.
• Morning and afternoon school runs (split shifts, Mon–Fri).
• Support students on SWD routes and with disabilities.
• Work closely with drivers, families, schools and coordinators.

We're looking for caring, compassionate people to join us as Casual School Bus Supervisors, supporting students with specialist needs and/or intellectual disabilities to travel safely to and from school.

More than supervision, this role is about connection, reassurance and care. You'll be a trusted and familiar face, helping students feel safe, supported and valued every day.

About the Role

• Casual, on‑call work during school terms only
• Morning and afternoon school runs (split shifts, Monday to Friday)
• Supporting students on Students with Disability (SWD) routes
• Working closely with drivers, families, schools, and coordinators
• Ensuring safe, respectful pick‑up and drop‑off of each student
