Job summary

Ace Buses is seeking Casual Mini School Bus Drivers in Brisbane South across multiple locations. You will transport special needs students with a Student Supervisor, in shifts up to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities include safe driving, passenger comfort, and adherence to policies. A flexible schedule is required to cover school routes and you will engage with families and school staff daily.

Qualifications

• A current and valid open C class license with a good driving record.
• LR or higher would be preferred.
• Driver Authorisation (Industry Authorisation) or willingness to obtain (through DOT & Main Roads).
• Ability to operate company technology.
• Experience driving a minibus or a 22-seater bus or similar-sized vehicle.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work with children.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate school routes.

School Bus Drivers - South Brisbane - Various Locations

We are seeking passionate Casual Mini School Bus Drivers to join our team at Ace Buses in Brisbane South over several locations. Bundamba, Ipswich, Tanah Merah, Beenleigh, Holland Park, Sunnybank, Mackenzie and Calamvale QLD. As a Casual Mini School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting special needs students to and from school each day. You will operate with a Student Supervisor on the bus whose role is to assist with the students.

The role is a maximum of 20 hours per week, split shift engagement.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating a mini school bus to transport special needs students to and from school each day

Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers for the duration of their transport

Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Performing pre-check inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety and cleanliness

Providing excellent customer service to students and their families

Communicating effectively with the office, Student Supervisor, school staff and parents as needed

What we're looking for
