Qualifications

• Experience with standardised and non-standardised assessment tools to evaluate student communication and learning needs.
• Proven ability to design and implement interventions that improve student outcomes.
• Experience working with teachers to set and prioritise communication and learning goals.
• Strong skills in providing clear, actionable reports and feedback to parents and educators on student progress.
• Experience in leading or contributing to staff training and providing educational opportunities for parents on speech pathology topics.
• Eligibility for Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (not required to be Catholic).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to speech pathology resource needs and services within the school.
• Partner with staff and external personnel to evaluate student communication and learning needs.
• Implement evidence-based, data-informed intervention approaches to enhance communication, learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers to prioritise goals and develop intervention strategies, resources and training.
• Support professional development of staff and parent education on speech pathology topics.
• Establish networks with BCE speech pathologists and external professionals.
