Job summary

Ballarat Specialist School is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide assessment, treatment and consultative services for students with diverse needs. You will work with teachers and allied health staff to implement individualized plans and support everyday learning.

The role emphasizes capacity building, documentation, and collaboration within a large specialist setting. Salary ranges from $105,429 to $124,309 per year, with school-term holidays and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
• Eligible for Membership Speech Pathology Australia
• Current Working with Children Check type E
• Desirable: Victorian Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and consultation in speech pathology for students
• Develop and implement intervention plans and documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, ES staff and families to support IEP/DIP goals
• Train and support school staff in speech pathology strategies
• Attend meetings and contribute to professional development
• Uphold privacy legislation and departmental policies
