Responsibilities

• Assessment & Intervention: Undertaking social work assessments, case formulations, and interventions for referred students, families, and groups.
• Family Engagement: Interviewing parents/guardians, evaluating case information, and conducting appropriate home visits.
• Staff Collaboration: Working closely with teachers, school leaders, and allied staff, providing expert advice and strategies to support students in achieving successful educational outcomes.
• Community Networking: Developing strong links between students, families, the college, and community agencies, while establishing partnerships with relevant organisations.
• Strategic & Crisis Support: Assisting the school in reviewing and implementing policies to identify students at educational risk, participating in case conferences, and forming a vital part of the college’s crisis management response.
