Job summary

Department of Education and Training in Katherine is seeking a Senior School Social Worker to support schools across the region. You will deliver direct services to students and supervise colleagues, following the MTSS framework to build educator capability and improve educational outcomes.

You will provide consultation, planning and short-term individual supports to address behaviour, wellbeing and social-emotional concerns that affect schooling, reporting to the Assistant Director Client

Qualifications

• Professional 3 level experience in school social work and student wellbeing.
• Experience delivering targeted supports and consultation to schools.
• Ability to work within MTSS framework to build educator capacity.
