Job summary

The Queensland Department of Education is seeking qualified physiotherapists to join a talent pool for up to twelve months across multiple regions, including Darling Downs - Maranoa. Roles support students with disability and integrate physiotherapy into school activities, with location and employment fraction preferences indicated in the application.

Qualifications

• Evidence-based contemporary physiotherapy knowledge required.
• Must be registered with Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

Responsibilities

• Support students to achieve their potential using evidence-based physiotherapy knowledge.
• Collaborate with school leaders, teachers and other services to provide physiotherapy services.
• Develop and implement best-practice assessment, planning, intervention and monitoring strategies for students with disability.
• Provide consultative physiotherapy services to assist school staff, parents and peers.
• Participate in quality improvement and research activities to enhance services in schools.
• Engage in professional development and clinical supervision to maintain high-quality services.
