Position Information
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world‑class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
A School Administrative Officer provides administrative, financial and student welfare/wellbeing support and assistance in relation to office and classroom activities, including but not limited to the following school settings: the office, sick bay, library, science laboratory, and food technology/kitchen areas.
Join our vibrant and supportive school community in Melonba/Marsden Park as a permanent School Administrative Officer. Our new school, which opened on its permanent site in 2025, is building a positive culture and strong foundation from the ground up. Currently catering to Years 7–10, we plan to add more year levels each year, a unique opportunity for both students and staff to grow together.
As a School Administrative Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily administrative operations of our modern school. In addition to general administration duties, you will assist key faculties such as TAS and Science, helping to ensure smooth coordination and support for teaching staff. Your contribution will create a welcoming, safe, and well‑organised environment for students and staff as the school expands.
We offer a supportive and inclusive culture, with opportunities for professional development and skill‑building. If you are enthusiastic, community-minded, and eager to be part of an exciting, growing school, we invite you to join us and help make a meaningful difference in our school’s journey.
