This role leads the management and assurance of approved vehicle dealerships delivering vehicle registration and transfer services through digital channels, ensuring regulatory, financial and contractual requirements are met. It supports Victoria's Road Safety Strategy by assuring the safety and compliance of vehicles on Victorian roads.
The role provides strategic leadership of vehicle safety, certification and registration schemes, manages and develops staff, resolves complex operational issues, and drives continuous improvement. It also provides specialist advice, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and uses negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills to achieve business outcomes and regulatory objectives.
