The Opportunity

Join Amplar Home and Allied Health as a Scheduling Officer (also known as a Practice Support Officer) within our dedicated Practice Support Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure our community clinicians and care assistants are supported through efficient intake, referral administration, and service allocation—helping deliver high-quality care to clients in their homes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Roster Coordination: Schedule appropriately skilled staff to deliver care at the right time and place.
  • Workforce Planning: Align staff availability, qualifications, and geographic location to meet service needs.
  • Forecast Alignment: Ensure schedules reflect forecasted demand and service delivery requirements.
  • Real-Time Adjustments: Manage unplanned changes in staff availability and reschedule as needed to maintain continuity of care.

We offer a permanent position with flexible working arrangements—from part-time (2 days/week) up to full-time. You can choose to work remotely, from one of our offices, or a combination of both.

About you

You will:

  • Have experience in a scheduling, rostering, or workforce coordination role with a strong grasp of real-time management and leave planning
  • You’re a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re confident juggling multiple tasks and collaborating within a dynamic team, while also working independently when needed.

You’ll Bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing systems and data
  • Accountability and commitment to delivering high-quality, timely outcomes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with Access and SQL is a plus)
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to multitask across phones, emails, and scheduling systems
  • Resilience and adaptability under time pressure
  • Availability to work between 7:00am and 8:00pm, across a 7-day roster
