Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a Scheduler/Planner at all levels to join our Adelaide-based Project Controls team. You will develop, update, and analyse baseline schedules, monitor critical paths and trends, and support monthly status reporting across defence, transport, water, and energy programs.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in engineering or related field, 3–5+ years in scheduling (8+ for senior roles), and strong Primavera P6/MS Project and Excel skills, with solid communication and time-management

Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management, or similar (or equivalent experience).
  • Scheduler: 3–5+ years’ experience; Senior Scheduler: 8+ years’ experience.
  • Strong Primavera P6 and/or MS Project experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power BI highly regarded).
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.

KBR is experiencing continued growth across major defence, transport, water, and energy programs and is seeking Scheduler/Planner – All Levels to join our Adelaide‑based Project Controls team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update baseline project schedules
  • Analyse schedule performance including critical path, float, and progress trends
  • Support monthly reporting and Project Status Reports
  • Apply schedule risk analysis, contingency planning, and scenario modelling
  • Build and manage resource‑loaded schedules and profiles
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and delivery teams
  • Conduct schedule integrity checks and ensure alignment with controls standards
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree‑qualified in Engineering, Project Management, or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Scheduler: 3–5+ years’ experience
  • Senior Scheduler: 8+ years’ experience
  • Strong Primavera P6 and/or MS Project experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power BI highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and time‑management skills

Security Clearance: Holding or being eligible for Baseline/NV1 security clearance is advantageous for defence projects but not required for non‑defence work.
