Overview

Bugarrba requires experienced Shutdown Scaffold Coordinators for fast paced shut down works in the Pilbara and Port Hedland region.

This role will be responsible for overseeing Scaffold Supervisors and Scaffold teams, overseeing the successful execution of allocated scopes of work and ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard that meets client specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Safety of employees and safe standards of work
  • Weekly planning of scheduled shutdown tasks
  • Daily planning for work crews and in field leadership
  • Scoping of site projects for accurate estimation
  • Meeting with client regularly for updating schedules
  • Training of new employees
  • Performance review of employees
  • Promoting a positive safety culture
  • Integrating with supervision team
Qualifications
  • Advanced Scaffold Ticket
  • S26 Statutory Supervisor (DIMIRS Exam)
  • MSIC
  • Confined Space
  • Working at Heights
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Coordinator/Superintendent positions
  • Cert III in Health and Safety
  • Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
  • A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
  • Hold a current driver’s licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
