Job summary

Wholesale Food Group on the Gold Coast produces gourmet sauces and mayo for local and national clients. As a Mix Operator you will prepare batches, weigh ingredients and help bring recipes to life on a fast-paced production line.

Training is provided and a supportive team environment is offered. The role requires reliability, willingness to lift heavy items, basic HACCP knowledge, and the ability to work rotating rosters across early and late shifts.

Qualifications

• Certificate in food processing or commercial cookery is ideal.
• Previous kitchenhand experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a food production facility.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Some manual handling and lifting will be required.

Responsibilities

• Locate, weigh and prepare batches of ingredients as per recipes.
• Control and mix ingredients with specialised equipment to finish high-end sauces.
• Maintain ingredient stock and report issues to team leaders.
• Fill out documentation in line with policies and food safety requirements.
• Set up, clean and pack down equipment and workspaces.
