Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and test secondary structures and PCBA assemblies for satellite systems in a highly collaborative, hands-on role based in Redmond, WA. The position emphasizes translating analytic trade studies into a qualified physical design with a focus on production readiness.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, and proven

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
4+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
Experience with prototyping and implementation.

Responsibilities

Mechanical design and layout trades contributing to system architecture configuration, requiring knowledge and experience in understanding, collaborating and trading inputs from multiple disciplines.
Generate detailed designs with 3D CAD assemblies/components and 2D drawings as deliverables.
Conduct static, dynamic, and modal structural analysis as needed to support design work.
Deliver designs capable of high volume production throughput (DFM, DFA).
Documentation and presentation of materials for design reviews.
Design and support test campaigns for space hardware.
