Job summary

Capgemini in Sydney seeks an experienced SAP TM Optimizer - Lead Consultant to design, implement, and optimise SAP TM solutions within large transformation programs.

You will lead workshops, map end-to-end processes across transportation, warehousing, procurement and order fulfilment, and guide teams through testing and deployment with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain and SAP consulting.
• Experience as a functional lead, senior consultant, or solution advisor in complex transformations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and logistics operations.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and project execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into SAP TM solutions.
• Lead functional workshops, design sessions, and solution discussions as SME for SAP TM.
• Design and maintain end-to-end business process maps across transportation, warehousing, procurement and order fulfilment.
• Configure SAP TM solutions, prepare specs, perform unit testing, SIT, and coordinate UAT.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including process designs, configurations and test scripts.
• Provide strategic inputs to program leadership, identify risks and opportunities for optimisation.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Optimizer - Lead Consultant, to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP TM solutions within large-scale transformation programs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into SAP TM solutions that align with business objectives and supply chain processes.
• Lead and facilitate functional workshops, process design sessions, and solution discussions, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for SAP Transportation Management and logistics transformation initiatives.
• Design, validate, and maintain end-to-end business process maps, ensuring seamless integration across transportation, warehouse management, procurement, and order fulfilment processes.
• Configure SAP TM solutions, prepare functional specifications, perform unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), execute test cases, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including process design documents, functional specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and knowledge transfer materials to support successful project delivery.
• Provide strategic and functional inputs to program and stream leadership, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, process improvement opportunities, and recommendations for solution optimisation.

Your Profile

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain and SAP consulting.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM), including multiple end‑to‑end greenfield implementations and transportation automation solutions.
• Experience working as a functional lead, senior consultant, or solution advisor in complex transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes and logistics operations.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and project execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) experience.
• SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) experience.
• SAP Materials Management (MM) experience.
• Experience within FMCG, Retail, Logistics, Distribution, or Process Manufacturing industries.
• Experience integrating transportation, warehousing, and order fulfilment processes across SAP landscapes.
