Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Consultant, ABAP & Integration Specialist to join our Platform, Enterprise Applications team within the Managed Services group. The role focuses on SAP ECC development and enterprise integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms.

You will design, develop, enhance and support ABAP-based solutions, build interfaces, and work with stakeholders across ITIL processes to ensure stable, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' SAP ECC ABAP development experience.
• Strong SAP interface and integration experience.
• Experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, SOAP Web Services, REST APIs.
• Enhancement experience including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs.
• Experience with reports, interfaces, workflows, forms and batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and support SAP ECC solutions using ABAP.

• Design and support integrations between SAP, cloud platforms and external systems.
• Develop integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, Web Services, REST APIs.
• Develop ABAP objects including programs, function modules, classes, User Exits, BAdIs, SmartForms.
• Troubleshoot defects, interface failures and data processing issues.
• Support design, testing, transports, releases and deployments.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, Basis, Security, Infra and business teams.

About the Role

NRI is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Consultant, ABAP & Integration Specialist to join our Platform, Enterprise Applications team, part of NRI's Managed Services group.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on SAP ECC development and enterprise integration, covering the design, development, enhancement and ongoing support of SAP applications and interfaces across both SAP and non-SAP platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, enhance and support SAP ECC solutions using ABAP
• Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, APIs and application extensions
• Design and support integrations between SAP, cloud platforms, middleware and external enterprise systems
• Develop and maintain integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, Web Services, REST APIs and file-based integrations
• Develop ABAP objects including programs, function modules, classes, User Exits, BAdIs, SmartForms and Adobe Forms
• Troubleshoot application defects, interface failures and data processing issues
• Support technical design, testing, transports, releases and production deployments
• Work closely with SAP functional, Basis, Security, Infrastructure and business teams
• Support Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management within an ITIL environmentv

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' SAP ECC ABAP development experience
• Strong SAP interface and integration experience
• Strong experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, SOAP Web Services, REST APIs and file-based integrations
• Strong SAP enhancement experience including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs and Enhancement Framework
• Experience developing reports, interfaces, workflows, forms and batch processing solutions
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
• Experience supporting complex enterprise SAP environments
• Experience working within ITIL Managed Services
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Exposure to SAP Integration Suite/CPI/BTP, Fiori, Gateway, OData, MuleSoft or SAP BW/BusinessObjects would be highly regarded.
