Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) & Integration Specialist to join our Managed Services Enterprise Applications team, supporting complex SAP environments. This hands-on role focuses on SAP ECC development and enterprise integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms.

You will design, develop, and maintain ABAP objects, interfaces, reports, forms and APIs, while coordinating with functional teams and ITIL processes to ensure

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' SAP ECC ABAP development experience
  • Strong SAP interface and integration experience
  • Strong experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, SOAP Web Services, REST APIs and file-based integrations
  • Strong SAP enhancement experience including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs and Enhancement Framework
  • Experience developing reports, interfaces, workflows, forms and batch processing solutions
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise SAP environments
  • Experience working within ITIL Managed Services
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite/CPI/BTP, Fiori, Gateway, OData, MuleSoft or SAP BW/BusinessObjects would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance and support SAP ECC solutions using ABAP
  • Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, APIs and application extensions
  • Design and support integrations between SAP, cloud platforms, middleware and external enterprise systems
  • Develop and maintain integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, Web Services, REST APIs and file-based integrations
  • Develop ABAP objects including programs, function modules, classes, User Exits, BAdIs, SmartForms and Adobe Forms
  • Troubleshoot application defects, interface failures and data processing issues
  • Support technical design, testing, transports, releases and production deployments
  • Work closely with SAP functional, Basis, Security, Infrastructure and business teams
  • Support Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management within an ITIL environmentv

About the Role

NRI is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) & Integration Specialist to join our Managed Services Enterprise Applications team, supporting complex enterprise SAP environments.

This is a hands‑on technical role focused on SAP ECC development and enterprise integration, covering the design, development, enhancement and ongoing support of SAP applications and interfaces across both SAP and non‑SAP platforms.

Please note: this role requires eligibility for Security Clerance, so we can only consider Australian Citizens

What We’re Looking For
