Job summary

Capgemini in Sydney, Australia, seeks an SAP Security Consultant to join our growing SAP team on major S/4HANA programs. You will design secure access models, troubleshoot authorisation issues and enhance compliance across the SAP landscape.

You will work with business stakeholders and SAP professionals, contributing to transformation projects and governance activities. Hybrid working arrangement offered across locations in Australia.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' SAP Security/Authorisations experience in ECC or S/4HANA.
• Solid understanding of users, roles, profiles and authorisation objects.
• Hands-on use of PFCG, SU01, SU53, SUIM, ST01 and STAUTHTRACE.
• Familiar with SoD principles and audit/compliance requirements.

SAP Security Consultant

We're looking for an SAP Security Consultant to join our growing SAP team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has built a solid foundation in SAP Security and is ready to take the next step in their consulting career.

You'll work alongside experienced SAP professionals on major S/4HANA programs, helping clients design secure access models, solve authorisation challenges and improve compliance across their SAP landscape. You will play a key role in

• Supporting user and role administration across SAP environments, including user provisioning, access changes and role maintenance.
• Designing and building SAP security roles and authorisations aligned to business requirements.
• Investigating and resolving authorisation issues using standard SAP security tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Supporting testing, system upgrades, role redesign activities and S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Assisting with compliance and governance activities, including Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and SAP GRC Access Control processes.

Your profile

• Around 2-4 years' experience in SAP Security, Authorisations or Access Governance within SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Good understanding of SAP security concepts including users, roles, profiles and authorisation objects.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as PFCG, SU01, SU53, SUIM and ST01, STAUTHTRACE.
• Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles and audit compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret business requirements, analyse and troubleshoot authorisation issues, assess access risks, and recommend effective SAP security solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business users, functional consultants, audit teams and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Security.
• Exposure to SAP GRC Access Control, IAS/IPS, IAG or Fiori Security would be highly regarded.
• SAP Security or SAP GRC certification, or a desire to work towards certification.
• Previous consulting experience or experience supporting multiple SAP environments.
