Job summary

The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Melbourne Health Financial Shared Services seek a Payroll Systems Administrator to deepen SAP Payroll expertise and support major projects that ensure accurate payroll across Victorian health services.

You will troubleshoot, test changes, and collaborate with vendors to deliver payroll outcomes. This is a technology-focused role, not traditional payroll processing, with exposure to EJAs, legislation, and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Payroll or similar enterprise payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, awards and enterprise agreements.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting system users and building effective stakeholder relationships.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on data integrity.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain SAP Payroll configurations and employee data structures.
• Assist with testing for Enterprise Agreement changes, legislative updates and system enhancements.
• Investigate payroll system issues and identify practical solutions.
• Support payroll compliance through accurate system configuration and validation.
• Develop reports and data extracts using SAP and Excel.
• Create and maintain user guides, procedures and testing documentation.
• Provide system support and advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
