Job summary

Capgemini Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to drive SAP Finance implementations. You will lead a team of 3–10 consultants, onshore and offshore, guiding design decisions and configuring SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling to meet evolving business needs.

You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. In this role, you’ll manage project status reporting, workload planning, and thought leadership to grow client

Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance.
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (Finance & Controlling) with 2-3 full life-cycle implementations.
Experience in Group Reporting, Advanced Financial Closing or Document & Reporting Compliance.
Proven track record delivering large IT projects across diverse industry sectors.
Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 3-10 consultants, onshore and offshore as part of an SAP implementation.
Accompany clients in key design decisions in Finance, integrated with other functional and technical areas.
Design, configure, and optimize SAP Solutions from a finance perspective (RISE/GROW).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful SAP delivery and support.
Prepare and share a status report for the finance domain and drive workload to meet timelines.
Act as primary point of contact for customers throughout implementation.
Contribute thought leadership to grow client value and Capgemini’s finance practice.
