Job summary

Precision Sourcing Australia seeks an experienced SAP EWM Solution Architect to lead architecture, design and delivery of SAP Extended Warehouse Management across major client transformation programmes.

You will partner with Capgemini to define future-state processes, guide solution decisions and drive delivery across onshore and offshore teams within Capgemini's SAP Supply Chain capability.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP warehouse management experience including strong SAP EWM architecture capability.
• Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP EWM implementations.

SAP EWM Solution Architect

About the Role

We are partnering exclusively with Capgemini to build out their SAP Practice and are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design and delivery of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions across major client transformation programmes.

You will work closely with clients to understand their warehouse and logistics requirements, define future-state processes and design scalable SAP EWM solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide key solution decisions, ensure alignment with the wider SAP S/4HANA landscape and provide leadership throughout the full programme lifecycle.

This is a senior, hands‑on role combining solution architecture, functional leadership, client engagement and delivery oversight across onshore and offshore teams. The broader supply chain architecture requirement identifies SAP EWM experience as highly regarded within Capgemini's SAP Supply Chain capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design and governance of SAP EWM solutions across large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Facilitate discovery, fit-to-standard and solution design workshops with warehouse, logistics, supply chain and technology stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP EWM process and solution designs.
• Define future-state warehouse processes across inbound, outbound, internal movements, replenishment, picking, packing, staging and inventory management.
• Provide architectural direction across SAP EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, TM, manufacturing, automation platforms and third-party logistics systems.
• Guide clients through key design decisions, balancing business requirements, standard SAP functionality and long-term solution sustainability.
• Lead functional teams through detailed design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover and deployment activities.
• Establish solution governance, design standards and clear ownership of architectural decisions.
• Manage solution risks, dependencies, scope assumptions and cross-functional design issues.
• Coordinate delivery across functional, technical, integration, data, security and infrastructure teams.
• Lead and mentor SAP EWM consultants across onshore and offshore delivery teams.
• Support delivery estimates, programme roadmaps, Statements of Work and business development activities.
• Act as the primary SAP EWM advisor for client stakeholders, programme leadership and wider architecture teams.

Experience & Qualifications

• Extensive SAP warehouse management experience, including strong SAP EWM solution architecture capability.
• Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP EWM implementations.
• Deep functional knowledge of inbound logistics, outbound logistics, internal warehouse processes, inventory management and warehouse execution.
• Strong understanding of SAP EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD and other supply chain solutions.
• Experience with decentralised and/or embedded SAP EWM environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discovery, fit-to-standard and detailed solution design workshops.
• Proven experience developing solution architecture, functional designs and end-to-end process models.
• Strong understanding of testing, data migration, cutover, deployment and operational handover activities.
• Experience integrating SAP EWM with warehouse automation, material handling equipment or third-party logistics platforms would be highly regarded.
• Exposure to SAP TM, Yard Management, Labour Management or advanced warehouse capabilities would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary and geographically distributed SAP delivery teams.
• Industry experience across FMCG, retail, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, energy and/or government would be valuable.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
