Job summary

Capgemini Australia is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Consultant to design, develop and implement complex integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. You will ensure seamless data flow and orchestration of business processes within our global team.

You will work on SAP Integration Suite / CPI / PI/PO, IDocs, SOAP/REST services, and adapters, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and provide go-live support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI & SAP PI/PO.
• 2+ complete project life cycle implementations in SAP IS / CPI / PI/PO.
• Strong expertise in SAP CPI, PI/PO and Integration Suite tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite / CPI / PI/PO to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop and maintain integration interfaces, including IDocs, web services (SOAP/REST), file-based interfaces, and other relevant protocols.
• Implement end-to-end integration scenarios leveraging pre-built connectors, adapters, and APIs.
• Manage and troubleshoot complex integration issues, ensuring data integrity and seamless communication between systems.
• Collaborate with functional/technical teams to align integration architecture with project needs and standards.
• Perform detailed testing (unit, system, integration) to ensure quality.
• Provide technical support during go-live and post-go-live phases.
• Stay updated with SAP CPI / Integration Suite tools and best practices.

Your role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Integration Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions across various SAP and non-SAP systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data flow and business process orchestration within our organization.

You will:

• Design and develop integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI / SAP PI/PO to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for integration
• Develop and maintain integration interfaces, including IDocs, web services (SOAP/REST), file-based interfaces, and other relevant protocols.
• Implement end-to-end integration scenarios including system and process integration, leveraging Integration suite’s pre‑built connectors, adapters, and APIs.
• Manage and troubleshoot complex integration issues, ensuring data integrity and seamless communication between systems.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align integration architecture with project needs and technical standards.
• Perform detailed testing, including unit, system, and integration testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the go‑live and post‑go‑live phases of the project.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP CPI / Integration Suite tools, techniques, and best practices.

Your profile

Minimum 2 project experience for BTP Integration Suite with S/4 transformationMinimum of 6 years of experience working with SAP Integration Suite / CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) & SAP PI/PO.2+ complete project life cycle implementations in SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI / SAP PI/PO, including design, build, testing, and deployment for both STD and Custom iFlow.Strong expertise in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), SAP PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite tools, including iflows, adapters, and APIs.Strong demonstrable hands‑on experience as an SAP Integration Consultant.Strong experience with SAP PI/PO and its key components (Integration Builder, Directory, Monitoring).Deep knowledge of integration protocols such as HTTP, SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC, and JMS.Strong understanding of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP module.Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and its integration capabilities.Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex integration challenges in diverse business environments.Familiarity with mapping techniques (XSLT, Graphical Mapping, Groovy scripting) and troubleshooting tools within SAP CPI.Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders across functional teams and clearly articulate technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP integration technologies such as BTP IS, SAP PI/PO and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and hybrid integration architectures.
• Certification in SAP Integration Suite / CPI or SAP BTP is a plus.
