Job summary

Hawkesbury Valley Irrigation in Windsor NSW is offering a permanent full-time role in irrigation sales, dealing with farmers, market gardeners, tradies and the public. The successful applicant will join a friendly team and learn all aspects of irrigation sales and service on the job.

Key tasks include stock handling, taking orders, assisting customers by phone and in person, and maintaining stock. The role requires physical work and a 3.5-hour Saturday shift.

Qualifications

• Medium computer knowledge.
• Self-motivated and can-do attitude.
• Previous sales experience is advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Friendly, team-oriented approach.
• Forklift licence and driver's licence are a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Heavy lifting and moving of pipes and stock.
• Order placement and stock handling.
• Serving customers and advising on irrigation products.
• Stock replenishment and cleaning duties.
• Talking to customers on the phone and in person.
• General duties related to irrigation sales.

This job involves heavy lifting, moving of pipes, ordering, serving customers, putting stock away, cleaning, talking to customers on the phone, receiving stock and general duties.

This job also requires 3.5 hours on a Saturday.

The successful applicant will gain on going support in this position, and will learn all things irrigation.
