Job summary

NAPA in Sydney/Canberra/Wollongong region is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to drive growth for automotive aftermarket customers. You will manage approximately 110 accounts, win new business, and partner with branch teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes across South Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra.

You'll bring a proven track record of hitting sales targets, strong communication and negotiation skills, and experience in territory management.

We're looking for an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our presence across South Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra.About the RoleReporting to the Channel Manager and working closely with NAPA Branch Managers, our Customer Development Managers (CDMs) are responsible for driving sales growth, gross margin performance, and customer success across their territory. Managing approximately 110 active and passive customer accounts, you'll build long-term partnerships, identify growth opportunities, solve customer challenges, and help rebuild and grow market share through proactive account management and business development.Key responsibilities include:Managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accountsIdentifying and securing new business opportunities within your territoryAchieving sales and gross margin targetsBuilding strong relationships through regular customer engagement and consultationAttending sales meetings, trade shows and training sessionsWorking closely with branch teams and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomesChampioning a strong safety-first culture and demonstrating safe driving behaviours at all timesAbout YouWe're seeking a motivated sales professional who loves building relationships and thrives in a customer-focused environment. We're ideally looking for someone with experience in the automotive aftermarket, 4WD or transmission sectors, particularly those who have previously worked in an external sales or territory management role. Candidates with strong experience in either the automotive, 4WD or transmission space will be supported to develop their knowledge in the other areas.You will bring:Previous experience in account management, territory management or business development within the automotive industry.
