Job summary

YHI International in Australia is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our NSW sales team. Based at Arndell Park, you will build and manage relationships, grow the customer base, and pursue new business opportunities across ACT and NSW Central West.

You will travel regionally monthly/bi-monthly to meet customers and promote YHI products. The role emphasizes achieving monthly targets, CRM maintenance, and providing product knowledge and service excellence.

Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join our sales team based in our Arndell Park facility. Reporting to the NSW Sales Manager, the main focus of the role is to maintain and increase sales within your assigned region and to investigate new business opportunities, promoting YHI products and services. As the areas of focus currently include ACT and NSW Central West, some regular (monthly/bi-monthly) overnight regional travel will be required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Achieve monthly sales targets

Maintain and grow existing customer base and develop new business opportunities

Continually review customer requirements and set objectives and targets to increase sales

Visit and/or call customers on a regular basis to ensure objectives/targets are met and that the customers are kept up to date with the latest products and specials

Attend and participate in sales meetings, training, product launches, promotions and exhibitions when required

Maintain, on a daily basis, the CRM (Wufoos)

Respond to customer queries, provide technical advice and resolve complaints

Assist with sales office duties, processing orders when required

About You

To be considered for this position you will have:

A minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in a similar role preferably within the tyres and wheels (automotive) industry

Account and time management experience

Sound knowledge of motor vehicle makes, models and popular accessories

The ability to comprehend basic technicalities relating to tyres and wheels

Proven ability to engage customers and build meaningful relationships

Current driver’s licence is a must as is a reliable vehicle

Candidates will be required to exhibit the following attributes:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Natural selling skills with a proven record of reaching and exceeding set sales targets

Ability to use or learn CRM/sales software systems

Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Organised and able to meet deadlines

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to proactively work autonomously and also in a team

Self-motivated with a positive work ethic

Reliability and attention to detail

For this, we offer a competitive annual base salary + superannuation + car allowance + participation in our monthly commission scheme. Remuneration is dependent on experience.
