Overview

Sales Representative – We’re looking for an energetic and driven Sales Representative to join this renowned Australian Food Services Distributor in Alice Springs. In this role, you’ll be responsible for achieving sales and margin targets across a designated territory by strengthening existing customer relationships, securing new business, and promoting our unique product and service offerings. If you’re passionate about food service and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, this is your chance to make an impact.

Key responsibilities
  • Execute sales plans to achieve sales and margin budgets for your territory.
  • Take full accountability for territory performance – protecting base sales, driving basket growth, optimising margins, and winning new business.
  • Promoteunique value proposition, products, and services to grow customer partnerships.
  • Use data to plan, monitor, and target sales objectives effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to support growth and retention.
  • Develop structured business plans to ensure customer retention and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive compliance with all legislative and company requirements, including OH&S, food safety, and chain of responsibility.
  • Actively lead by example in promoting a positive safety and compliance culture.
Key requirements
  • Strong sales background with proven results, ideally in food service or related industries.
  • High-impact communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Commercially astute, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Strong time management, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience as a former chef will also be considere
  • Must have full Work Rights and willing to undergo an Australian Police Check
