Job summary

EVT’s hotel sales team is seeking a motivated sales leader to drive the hotel’s sales strategy, manage a developing pipeline, and report on performance with tools like PowerBI.

You will own key accounts, work with CRM, mentor a team, and collaborate with the GM to deliver exceptional guest experiences while expanding EVT's portfolio.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Track record of closing sales and growing a client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the hotel's sales strategy, tracking targets against budget and using data to spot trends, opportunities and areas for growth.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline - both new business and reconversion - using EVT's sales best practice framework.
• Report and forecast sales performance weekly and monthly using tools like PowerBI
• Own key account relationships: understand client needs, propose tailored solutions and close deals that work for both the customer and the hotel.
• Use CRM and sales technology to manage relationships, track performance and keep the sales process running smoothly.
• Be a visible, credible presence for the hotel - with clients, industry partners and internally across departments.
• Lead, coach and motivate a sales team, setting clear expectations and helping them grow.
• Partner with the GM and other department heads to deliver a seamless guest experience and cross-sell across the EVT portfolio.

What You’ll Bring

• A tertiary qualification and solid experience in a sales role, ideally within hospitality
• Strong commercial and analytical skills - you're comfortable using data to guide decisions and sales strategy
• A track record of closing sales and growing a client base
• Confidence with CRM platforms and sales technology
• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner across all levels of a business
• Sharp written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences
• A natural leader who sets high standards, coaches others, and gets the best out of a team
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Resilience and a positive outlook - you handle pressure and setbacks well and keep moving forward
