Job Description

Sales Leadership

Sales Leadership
  • Own and grow the vascular and cardiac surgery business across New Zealand.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic account planning and execution.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and territory performance.
Clinical Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with cardiac and vascular surgeons, perfusionists, and operating theatre teams.
  • Provide in-theatre support and product expertise during surgical procedures.
  • Deliver clinical education and training to drive product adoption and confidence.
Account Management
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with public and private hospitals.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and tender submissions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Market Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in emerging cardiac centers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and medical affairs to execute local campaigns and KOL engagement.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
The Successful Applicant

Proven sales experience in medical devices, ideally within vascular or cardiac surgery.

Strong clinical acumen and ability to engage with surgical teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to travel across New Zealand as required.
