A leading recruitment firm is seeking a professional to lead the launch of an international IoT business in Australia. You will define the go-to-market strategy and build strategic partnerships with utilities and government agencies. Ideal candidates have over 10 years of experience in sales/business development, specifically in the Australian water sector. With 500,000+ devices connected and 80+ customers across APAC, after a transformative FY25, the business is looking to capitalise on its growth in South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan, as well as a strong recent launch in the Middle East, by entering the Australian market.
Important to note: This is an individual contributor role at this stage. You'll be directly responsible for execution without a team around you initially. If you deliver results and the business grows, this role will expand to include team leadership and broader business responsibility.
There is a competitive package on offer with a highly flexible WFH/Hybrid working culture. Whilst the business is HQ'd in Melbourne, we are currently considering candidates based in Sydney as well.
