Job summary

FranklinWH in Adelaide, South Australia is launching a Regional Sales Trainee program for early-career talent aiming for a Regional Sales Manager track. You will rotate through field sales, dealer/installer support, marketing coordination and market analysis.

Ideal for recent graduates or those with up to 1 year of sales experience, with relocation to Adelaide supported if needed. Structured on-the-job training, mentorship, and a clear pathway toward regional leadership are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with a genuine interest in sales and relationship building.
• Willingness to travel locally within South Australia for training and client visits.

Responsibilities

• Support the South Australia regional sales team in executing sales plans and achieving territory targets.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with installers, dealers and channel partners.
• Learn to deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and partners.
• Help coordinate with marketing and product teams to localise sales materials and campaigns for the region.
• Conduct market research on trends, competitor activity and customer feedback, and summarise findings for the regional team.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and customer interactions in the CRM.
• Support reporting on sales performance and market activity to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Complete all training modules and participate in mentorship sessions.

We are launching a Regional Sales Trainee program for early-career talent who want to build a career in sales and regional management within the renewable energy industry. This is an entry-level, structured development role designed for recent university graduates or candidates with less than one year of sales experience. Over the course of the program, the Trainee will rotate through core commercial functions — field sales, dealer/installer support, marketing coordination and market analysis — before progressing toward a Regional Sales Manager career path.

Location Requirement: This position requires the successful candidate to be currently residing in or willing to relocate to Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.

Program Overview

• A structured 12–18 month development track combining on-the-job training, mentorship from senior Regional Sales Managers, and formal product/industry training.
• Rotational exposure to core functions: dealer and installer relationship management, lead generation and pipeline support, sales presentations and demonstrations, and market/competitor research.
• Regular check-ins, performance milestones, and a defined pathway toward a Regional Sales Manager or Territory Sales role upon successful completion of the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
• Up to 1 year of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience; internships and relevant coursework will be considered.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with a genuine interest in sales and relationship building.
• Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced, growing industry.
• Interest in renewable energy, home energy storage, or sustainability is highly regarded.
• Willingness to travel locally within South Australia as required for training and client visits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to CRM software is a plus.
• Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence.
